How Pricing Works

Every task is priced from your actual survey workload. We use these three inputs:

The area of your dataset in square kilometers (km^2).

Closer point spacing means more detail and more compute.

Smaller contour intervals generate denser contour lines.

Price (USD) = Area * 10 * (10 / Spacing) / Interval

Base price: USD 10 per km^2 at 10m spacing and 1m interval.

Spacing clamp: 1.0m to 100.0m for stability.

Interval clamp: 0.1m to 100.0m for stability.

Final display: Formula result rounded to 2 decimals for UI display.

Hosted checkout uses a metered unit and integer quantity so billing works consistently across providers.

Default billing unit: USD 0.10 per unit (10 cents), configurable by service settings.

Quantity = ceil(rounded_formula_price_in_cents / unit_price_cents).

Checkout subtotal = quantity * unit_price_cents, which may round up by less than one unit.
